Chillagoe Rodeo

The Chillagoe Bushmans Carnival Association proudly presents the Chillagoe Rodeo ‘Cows, Caves & Cold Cans’, being held on 16 – 17 May 2025. This is an action-packed weekend of thrilling entertainment for the whole family.

Events include bullride competitions, open saddle bronc, buck jump, steer rides and bullock rides, for participants of all ages. In recent years horse sports events have been added to the schedule, including open barrel racing, rope & tie, chute dogging and more.

The Chillagoe Rodeo has been running since the 1970s and is a proud small town event. It’s success is thanks to the dedication of past and present committees and of course, your attendance and support. Tickets go on sale in April.
