Mareeba Turf Club

After last year’s success, the Mareeba Turf Club are pleased to announce a Night with Robert Thompson. This award winning jockey has over 3,000 wins and $4 million in prize money. He is a legend in the North Queensland racing industry and was an inductee into the Australian Racing Hall of Fame in 2015. The evening is being held on Friday 5 September from 6pm to 9.30pm. Tickets are $100 per person and includes hosting the Calcutta, canapes, full buffet roast dinner, complimentary drink, free entry to the Annuals the next day and of course epic stories from the legend himself.

The following day – Saturday 6 September – will be the epic race meet known as The Annuals. 5 races, 2 bars, live music and food vans. A fabulous day out.
