Hectic Valley Farm

Hectic Valley Farm, located in Mutchilba, invites you to experience life up close with more than 300 animals on site. Set across 100 acres in the scenic Mareeba Shire, the farm offers the perfect day out — meet the animals, wander the grounds, and enjoy a picnic by the water’s edge of a stunning dam.

If you’d like to stay longer, private campsites are available so you can make the most of the walking tracks, safe swimming dam, and spectacular sunsets that light up the surrounding countryside.

Visitors can hand-feed a wide variety of friendly animals, including Clydesdales, camels, water buffalo, miniature cows, sheep, pigs, cattle, peafowl, ducks, chickens, and even a flock of sociable geese.

In the Brooder Shed, new life is always beginning, with baby animals being born throughout the year — an experience that delights both kids and adults alike.
