  Mareeba Shire Tourism is seeking expressions of interest to fill a vacancy on its Board of Directors. A Board Director must have skills and interests related to the tourism industry. Knowledge and experience with the tourism industry in Dimubulah/Mt Molloy/Julatten is highly desirable.  We are also looking for someone with financial acumen and financial reporting skills this year.

  Mareeba Shire Tourism seeks to promote the visitor experiences across the Mareeba Shire through industry strategic partnerships, collaboration, capacity building and advocacy.

  The term to be filled will begin in November, 2026.

• Now Recruiting: Visitor Information Centre Manager (Kuranda) Mareeba Shire Tourism is recruiting a Visitor Information Centre Manager to join the team at the Kuranda Visitor Information Centre (KVIC). The Visitor Information Centre Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the KVIC including management of the centre, staff and volunteers and providing services to meet set objectives.The Visitor Information Centre Manager will work closely with the Mareeba Shire Tourism Executive Officer to support and promote tourism across the region.
